We used to wonder how a thin, flimsy material like paper could give us a good cut. It’s very natural of us to keep away from the paper’s edge just to make sure it won’t wound our fingers. But one artist discovered a good use for paper cut. Nadeem Haidary, transforms this capability into something we can use everyday: a razor made out of paper.
Paper Cut Razor is constructed from water-resistant paper, folded smartly into an item shaped like a razor. Because it can be recycled after use, consumers can delight in its environment-saving specs. This is a great alternative to disposable razors which are made out of plastic.
Haidary shares his thought about his product as “a fictional product that playfully challenges two notions: that paper cuts are inherently evil, and that current disposable razors are truly disposable.”
The whole set is packaged in a tub, designed with embossed fonts in red with minimal illustrations.
